Why do you want to be a HOSA State Officer?

"HOSA has given me something I can never lose, which is a passion for medicine and that is exactly what I want to provide for the members. I have so many plans and ideas I want to implement because of the opportunity past officers have given me to express and grow my passion for healthcare. These plans would start with becoming an officer. For example, I have plans to pitch ideas to host more community service events such as blood drives, basic life necessities drives, and health education workshops, and promote more volunteering opportunities at various clinics and shelters throughout our state. As a State officer, I can better advocate these ideas to all the HOSA members of our State Chapter and make a difference in our community. HOSA has provided me with incredible experiences which include meeting the State Officers at the 2024 SLC and ILC, and it has inspired me to run for this position. Their dedication to improving our chapter has shown me the difference strong leadership can make. I see it imperative to continue to stuard this style of leadership that fosters passion for all things medicine, something that is only probable to happen if someone who knows what it means to love to learn is HOSA State Officer. I have also been very passionate about pursuing a career in the medical field from a very young age, and I hope that as an officer, I can continue to grow, and impact others the way HOSA has impacted me. As a HOSA State Officer, I aspire to build meaningful connections, grow, and thrive while contributing to the success and impact of our organization"
